Name:
Timothy C Bonebrake
About Me:
My recent work has explored (1) climate change and urbanization impacts on biodiversity, (2) climate change implications of the relationship between climatic variability (temperature and precipitation changes) and adaptation, and (3) patterns of tropical biodiversity and conservation. Butterflies have served as our focal study species, but interests extend across a variety of species and systems. Representative Publications Bonebrake, T.C., Deutsch, C.A. (2012) Climatic heterogeneity modulates impact of warming on tropical insects. Ecology, 93, 449-455 Bonebrake, T.C., Mastrandrea, M.D. (2010) Tolerance adaptation and precipitation changes complicate latitudinal patterns of climate change impacts. PNAS, 107, 12581-12586 Bonebrake, T.C., Ponisio, L.C., Boggs, C.L., Ehrlich, P.R. (2010) More than just indicators: A review of tropical butterfly ecology and conservation.
