He received a B.Sc. with
first class honor from the EAOI (which has transformed to the current Asia
International Open University, Macau). He moved on with the computer studies
at Queensland University of Technology (Australia) and obtained his Master
degree on 1996. Dr Tam joined the CSIS Department in 1996, where he obtained the
PhD degree in 2001. His current research interests include cluster
computing, parallel computing, high-speed communication, operating systems
concept and performance benchmarking.
