Chun-ho Liu graduated with a B. Eng. and a Ph. D. in 1993 and 1998, respectively, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the National Center for Atmospheric Research in 2000 to 2002. Currently, he is a Research Associate with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include mathematical modeling of geophysical turbulence and pollutant transport, and physical and chemical processes in the atmospheric boundary layer, applied mathematics, grid-based computation, parallel computing, engineering solution using large-scale computation and supercomputers, direct numerical and large-eddy simulation of fluid turbulence, environmental fluid mechanics, and outdoor and indoor air quality.
