Professor Soh is an academic staff in the Department of Mechanical
Engineering, the University of Hong Kong. His research interests include
constitutive theory and toughening mechanisms of advanced materials; micro/nano
mechanics of deformation and fracture; electromagnetic solid mechanics; and
multi-scale modelling. He is an editorial board member of International
