About Me:
I am a PhD student at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, under the supervision of Dr. Marcos López and Prof. María Victoria Fonseca. Our group is working in the field of high- and very-high-energy astrophysics and is actively involved in the MAGIC experiment (https://magic.mpp.mpg.de/). The research topic of my thesis are gamma-ray pulsars.
Currently I am visiting the University of Hong Kong for four months (01.02.2016 - 01.06.2016) to work together with Pablo Saz Parkinson, Steven Ng and K.S. Cheng. The aim of this research internship is to find suitable pulsar candidates for the observation with Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes (IACTs) like MAGIC by analyzing Fermi LAT data.
