I am a current PhD student in Chemistry in studying the electronic structure of transition metal complexes. I would like to use the account to assist in calculations for the topic. This project is aimed to provide insights of the origins in the absorption and emission properties of the platinum complexes. The characterization of the nature of excited state can allow an effective tuning of the spectroscopic properties, which is very important for the design of luminescent materials.
