Professor K Y Chan

Kwong-Yu Chan joined The University of Hong Kong in 1988 and was promoted to Professor (Reader) in the Chemistry Department in 2002. He obtained a BSc from University of Alberta, MS and PhD from Cornell University. At HKU, he has led an active group with research interests of molecular simulations and electrochemistry. He has been a guest editor and is currently on the editorial board of “Molecular Simulation”.
 

In addition to his fundamental studies using computation methods, he has experimental projects on fuel cells and water treatment technology.
