Project Description:

CMB anisotropy is a useful constraint for cosmological parameter at early stage of universe. Weak lensing is one of the most significant factors inducing the anisotropy of CMB temperature, and our simulation aims at indicating future observation mission's requirements for resolving lensing effect on CMB.

Project Duration:
06/2016 to 09/2017
Project Significance:
CMB anisotropy is a useful constraint for cosmological parameter at early stage of universe. Weak lensing is one of the most significant factors inducing the anisotropy of CMB temperature, and our simulation will be useful for indicating future observation mission's requirements.
Results Achieved:
We have deduced mathematical formulas for systematics analysis and noise level estimation, and coded for simulation of lensing and delensing progress. We also have tested codes on several points to check the correctness, but due to limit of computational ability we are not able to test on the whole sky. We also need larger RAM to simulate to adequate precision level. Our simulation programs are stored in https://github.com/rogerwqn1993/lenspix-recon-systematics-revised
Remarks:
We need HPC to get reliable test results on the full-sky and simulate lensing and delensing to certain level of precision
