Nonlinear Dynamics of Rogue Waves

Oceanic rogue waves, unexpectedly large surface elevations from otherwise calm background sea states, are extreme and rare events in the ocean. The objective of this project is to study the dynamics of rogue waves under various oceanic settings. Several nonlinear evolution models for wave propagation are considered.
