Antimicrobial resistance gene metagenomic analysis

Antimicrobial resistance gene has currently been identified as one of the most threatening property spreading among bacteria in different countries. Researches have been done on analyzing the abundance of antimicrobial resistance genetic component in different environments using metagenomic method. However, there lacks the knowledge in linking up these data as to identify the transmission of such genetic elements in these environments. Here, a pipeline in analyzing metagenomic data as to build up a complete transmission map between different antimicrobial resistance genes in different environments are being researched.
